Bellingham Brew Cup Hockey Tournament

I am so excited for this weekend here in Bellingham.  Twice a year some friends of mine put together the Bellingham Brew Cup Hockey Tournament at the Bellingham Sportsplex. Earlier this year I finally decided to hang up my skates after 24 years of playing ice hockey as a goalie here in the Pacific Northwest. But my ice hockey friends are more like family and I couldn't imagine not being involved in this event that I love.  So this year I decided that I would personally like to award a "Sports Person of the Tournament" award. I took a drive up to Canada today and purchased a new hockey gear bag and some goodies to go inside. I created a poll that will allow the players to vote on their teammates to win the bag based on sportsmanship and fun!  I'm loving the comments on facebook so much that I may do a bigger award at the summer Brew Cup Tournament! Lets see!
